So the debate is over and all of the media analysis is out …. I just finished listening to CBC and CTV and I think I am finally prepared to put it out formally. I whole heartedly support Mr. Harper as the leader for Canada …. definitely my choice for “leader” for the coming elections … totally. To me, he was the only leader who stood out ….. the only leader that I can see being able to protect our interest in the emerging (fickle) world order. I found the rest of them too concentrated on defining the role of the government in controlling our already controlled lives. It is a sad state of affairs if what I saw today on the debate represents the political elite of our country. A single minded agenda to attack the leader in power - that to me does not equate to a strong leadership or politics worthy of Canada.
Well done Mr. Harper in keeping your composure and for not stooping to the level that was sometimes set in the discussion - This is from a proud Canadian to another proud Canadian. ” …. inside your sweater”, seriously who says that in a televised national debate. And the worse part is that the analyst from the party in the post mortem right after the debate actually relished it and called it a “win”. Blue definitely stood out.
